Costs
We are glad to announce that the European Union has decided to finance PREPARE. This ERSA program offers an integrated structure of training, active participation, and discussion for PhD students and young researchers active in regional science. The newly structured next four Advanced Summer Schools form a major part of this program. As a consequence, the EU will reimburse the registration fee, the accommodation cost and most of the travel cost of the participants.
The registration fee is 500 euro and will be paid for by PREPARE. It includes attending all lectures, excursions, coffee/tea, lunches and official dinners. Hotel accommodation has to be booked via the LOC and will be paid for by PREPARE. Participants have to organize and pay the transport to Groningen themselves, but can apply for travel grants by sending a specified request to the Treasurer of the Summer School (jouke.van.dijk@rug.rug).
Registration
Applicants must be PhD students or young researchers in regional/spatial economics or economic geography and must be associated with a registered university.
